A Magical Minecraft Birthday in Portmarnock
It was an amazing day for FrumpleTrix, Dublin’s favourite birthday party magician, and Margery the Wonder Chicken! We travelled to Portmarnock for a Minecraft-themed birthday party, and from the moment we arrived, the excitement was contagious.
Decorations, Cake, and a Bouncy Castle
The kitchen looked incredible with green and black Minecraft decorations, and there was even a Minecraft-themed cake. Balloons filled the room, while outside, a huge bouncy castle awaited the children. Everything was ready for a magical afternoon. After a quick setup, we kicked off the show, and the laughter began straight away! Margery was full of energy, and the kids absolutely loved her. Of course, one clown nose went flying through the air and tore in half, but the rest of the show went off without a hitch, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
The Birthday Child Takes the Spotlight
The closing performance was the highlight of the afternoon. The birthday child became the real star of the show. He performed the finale by himself, and the crowd went wild with applause. As a special reward, I gave him a giant Minecraft Creeper balloon. Meanwhile, the other children all received diamond sword balloons to match the Minecraft theme.
Smiles, Laughter, and Happy Families
After the show, many parents stopped to chat and shared how much their children loved the magic and balloons. It’s always wonderful to hear that everyone — kids and adults alike — had such a fun time. Seeing so many happy faces makes every bit of preparation worthwhile.
